To be on trend or not to be? That is the question.

Trends come and go and the big question is whether we follow them or continue to create our own unique style to carry us through. From the bright and bold to the dark and moody, styles go in and out of fashion and some suit our tastes more than others.

Following trends can be a risk as they come and go, but some styles stand the test of time. We often see the same furniture styles around the track, that never really go out of fashion – for example, the Chesterfield style sofa.

Currently, the eclectic look is moving back into fashion with a mix of retro/vintage and contemporary styles, and we’re right ready to jump on the trend with our new range of chesterfield sofas! The vintage look is in at the moment with many designs moving back towards the chocolate and spice colours for interiors. Are you looking to keep on trend? Or do you love the vintage class of the classic chesterfield range? Either way, the Chesterfield sofa is the one for you!

Chesterfield sofas haven’t ever really gone out of style, but rather have retained their popularity to this day from their first debut in the mid-1700s. First commissioned as a sofa for gentlemen to sit in without creasing their suits, the sofa became a sign of wealth and status. To this day, the chesterfield remains a classic and classy sofa style, bringing a level of sophistication to every room it is placed in.

Featuring deep buttoning in the back, large rolling arm rests and covered in a mahogany-coloured vinyl, the Chesterfield range that we offer is one to be admired. Lifting the room to another level, the chesterfield range will add a touch of pizazz to your area and encourage guests to relax while they enjoy their meal.

However, if you’re looking to create your own style and look, that is completely up to you! The downfall with following trends is that you may end up with an area that is out of fashion in a year or two time. Bringing in your own style can mean that your venue will stand out against your competition.

As much as trends are important to us and our customers, we prize longevity over and above what is currently “on trend”. We seek to add products to our range that speak to us and will always be a fan favourite, rather than forever chasing the next new thing.

Being on trend has its good points and its bad points, much like many of the decisions you will make when it comes to fitting out your venue. This is entirely up to you and your personal preference. If you’re not sure where to start with designing your venue, get in touch with us today. We would love to help you out on your design journey.
